Swansea City 4-1 QPR
QPR crashed to their first Premier League defeat of 2013 as they were ripped apart by rampant Swansea.
The Swans scored twice in each to inflict more misery on the Rs - and leave them six points adrift of safety.
Michu and Angel Rangel saw the hosts race into a 2-0 half-time lead.
Sub Bobby Zamora pulled one back after the break, only for Pablo Hernandez and another Michu goal to resign Rangers to another heavy defeat to the Welsh club.
The rock-bottom Rs – who had conceded just once in their past five league games - got off to a disastrous start and were 2-0 down inside 20 minutes.
They were behind when Julio Cesar could only parry Nathan Dyer's long-range effort, and Michu's scuffed rebound was lucky to loop over the Brazilian's head into the empty net.
Cesar came to the Rs' rescue soon after when Michu outpaced Chris Samba, only to see his shot saved.
However, the former Inter Milan keeper was picking the ball out of his net again moments later.
Wayne Routledge's defence-splitting ball played in Rangel, and although his initial effort was saved, the Swansea man was on hand to bundle home at the second attempt.
Harry Redknapp hauled off Shaun Derry and Jamie Mackie at the break, with Esteban Granero and Zamora coming on.
And the move paid off three minutes after the restart.
Michael Vorm could only parry Adel Taarabt's shot into the path of Zamora, who slotted the ball home from eight yards to hand the visitors a lifeline.
However, Swansea restored their two-goal lead inside 90 seconds.
Hernandez held off the challenges of Nedum Onuoha and Clint Hill before steering the ball across Cesar into the far corner.
Things almost got worse for Rangers moments later when Taarabt gave away possession cheaply, but Cesar saved at the feet of Routledge.
Rangers had a penalty appeal waved away and then almost pulled one back through Stephane Mbia's volley, only for sub Kyle Bartley to clear off the line.
However, Michu killed the game off on 66 minutes when he latched onto Hernandez's inch-perfect through-ball and slotted past Cesar.
Sub Shaun Wright-Phillips almost gave the Rangers fans something to cheer about in added time, but his shot came back off the bar.
