MARK Hughes has told Akos Buzsaky he will have to wait until the summer to discover if he is to get a new contract at QPR.
The Hungarian is in the final few months of his current deal at Loftus Road, along with defenders Clint Hill, Fitz Hall and Danny Gabbidon.
Buzsaky has found a new lease of life since Hughes's arrival in W12, scoring a stunning free-kick in the win against Wigan last month.
The 29-year-old is expected to return to the squad for tomorrow's visit to Blackburn after an Achilles injury, but Sparky has warned he will have to wait until the end of the season to discover his fate.
He said: “A number of players come to the end of the contracts and I’ve spoken to a number of them saying there is going to be no decision made at this point – just because I’m new to the club.
“It’s a case of getting to know what I have. It's wrong to be new talking of new contracts when we all need to be pulling in the same direction.
“But there will be a lot of decisions made at the end of the season. Then I’ll have a better understanding of what’s in the building and make the correct decision.”
