ROBERTO Di Matteo has rubbished rumours linking Daniel Sturridge with a January move away from Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal and Liverpool are among the sides reportedly interested in the former Manchester City frontman, who scored in this evening's thrilling 5-4 League Cup win against Manchester United.
But Blues boss Di Matteo insists the 23-year-old is staying in west London.
He said: “I get asked about speculation but I am very happy with him. He scored a goal and had a number of good chances.
“He's our striker and as far as I'm concerned he's part of this team.”
