MANCHESTER City are preparing a £20million swoop for Chelsea star Didier Drogba.

The Ivory Coast striker smashed 29 goals last season – earning him the Premier League's Golden Boot – as the Blues clinched the league and FA Cup double.

City chief Roberto Mancini is a keen admirer of the 32-year-old, who has two years left on his contract at Stamford Bridge, and would offer him a three-year deal worth £18m if he decided to make the switch to Eastlands.
