MARTIN Jol has confirmed Mickael Tavares will leave Fulham when his contract expires this week.
The Senegalese midfielder was signed on a short-term deal at the beginning of October after an injury to Mahamadou Diarra.
However, Tavares has failed to feature during his stint at Craven Cottage, and boss Jol confirmed they wouldn't be renewing his contract.
He said: “Tavares was a great pro, but a back-up player. There was no necessity to use him.”
