MARTIN Jol will decide whether to loan out youngster Matthew Briggs in the next couple of weeks.
The Fulham full-back made just two Premier League appearances last season, and was shipped out to Championship outfit Peterborough to gain some first-team experience in the second half of the campaign.
John Arne Riise is expected to start the new season as first-choice left-back, and boss Jol admits he is weighing up whether to loan out 21-year-old Briggs to boost his development.
He told the Chronicle: “Matty needs games but I need cover as well. In pre-season he's looked very good, so we will have to think about that in the next couple of weeks.”
