TEAMS of gritters are out making roads and pavements safe as the frosty weather bites in Hammersmith and Fulham.
All schools remain open except for one, Cambridge School in White City, which is closed due to a burst water pipe.
Vehicles travelled gritted a 'priority route network' overnights and teams will continue to lay salt on icy footways and pavements in busy high streets.
The council is armed with 1,000 tonnes of grit and gritting machines to keep the borough moving throughout the cold snap.
