THE STAGE is set to double up on your donations to the Bush Theatre.
For six days only, beginning today, fans of the Shepherd's Bush venue will see their contributions matched as part of the Big Give Christmas Challenge.
The theatre hopes to raise at least s10,000 - doubled to s20,000 as part of the scheme - between today and next Tuesday, December 11.
Any donations between s5 and s5,000 made through the Big Give website, which has already raised more than s32 million since being set up in 2008, will be matched.
The Bush, which celebrated its 40th birthday this year, has a reputation for championing new writing, like DC Moore's critically acclaimed comedy Straight, now showing.
It has also helped a number of celebrities, from Bob Hoskins to Simon Callow, make their names over the years.
The theatre plans to use the money raised to support writers and artists from the local community in particular.

You can also drop into the theatre from 10am to midday tomorrow (Friday, December 7) or Saturday for breakfast and get free use of a laptop to make a donation.
