A SELECTION of up close and personal portraits of the Queen have gone on display at Westfield.

To mark this weekend's Diamond Jubilee, the Shepherd’s Bush shopping centre, is showcasing prints taken from the Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum’s Cecil Beaton collection until Friday, June 8.

The display includes portraits of the Queen in a variety of locations and backdrops from official engagements, to more informal affairs across 20 years.

As the royal photographer, Mr Beaton had a trusted relationship with Elizabeth II and captured her on camera numerous times between the 1940s and 1960s.

The exhibition is being held on the first floor and is free to the public.
