An interactive journey through outdoor games, examining the different ways children have played outdoors since the 1950s, will be presented in a collaboration between SPID and the Riverside Studios in Normand Park, Lillie Road, from Thursday, September 6.
Specially Produced Innovatively Directed is an award-winning company which uses theatre to engage people with community spaces. In the production it will use marbles, chants and rhymes, make-believe play and ball games with the audience, as director Amy Draper asks: have children’s games and imaginations really changed?
